High-quality education and well-rounded training play a fundamental role in the development of any nation. Without education, it is not possible for a country to make its mark in the world. The importance of education has been unquestioned in every age, but the need for a sophisticated and quality education to deal with the challenges of the modern age has come to be all the more pressing. Outstanding performance of educational institutions goes a long way towards achieving the cherished goals of national development. By the grace of Allah, Government Islamia Graduate College, Sargodha Road, Faisalabad serves as a beacon of knowledge for male and female students. Achieving new milestones in academic excellence and firm discipline, the college has become one of the best institutions in Faisalabad by virtue of its infrastructure and the scholarship of committed faculty members. Over the last few years, many BS programs have been successfully launched, and the trend among male and female students to seek admission to BS (FYDP) is growing rapidly. At present, the number of students in the college is approximately 4,500. Thanks to the hard work of our highly learned and committed teachers, there is a rapid rise in admissions to FSc (Pre-medical and Pre-engineering) and ICS at the intermediate level, which reflects parents’ trust in the college administration. On the other hand, PhD and MPhil teachers' intellectual expertise as well as effective discipline at the college campus has given boost to the admissions of male and female students at BS level. College administration is fully committed to the character building and academic uplift of students as well as maintenance of discipline. It is wholeheartedly determined to implement the educational vision of the Punjab Government. I assure all the students and their parents that the peaceful academic atmosphere of the college ----- which has become a model among the educational community of Faisalabad ----- would be maintained at all costs and no effort would be spared to improve it further.
